Well another season is in the books following last nights awards banquet. It isn’t exactly my favorite part of the season but it went fairly well, and parents and players seemed pleased.

MYBL Schedules and Rosters are now available online.  This season MYBL is happy to include 98 players on eleven teams, which includes 29 girls.

Games begin on January 9th which is just over a week away.

Mariposa Youth Basketball League evaluation day went very well… if not a bit overwhelming.  We have a total of 98 kids on 11 teams this season, and for the first time we are including girls.

The season is well underway as most of you are aware.   The A team is 2-2 in league and are getting better with every passing day.   The B team is 4-0 in league and has been playing some good basketball all season long.  Unfortunately due to some health issues we are scrambling to figure out how to keep both teams in the hunt.

Try outs went great on Saturday and I look forward to seeing you all on Monday at 3pm. Cuts will be made on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I am really excited about this season and hope that we all have a fun and successful Bears Basketball season.
